Recent Projects in the Group Epitaxial Nanostructures

The central interest of research in the group epitaxial nanostructures is devoted to the fabrication and characterization of semiconductor nanostructures with tailored optoelectronic and magnetic properties. Artificial potentials in these structures allow to confine charge carriers on the nanometer scale. This enables the study of the quantum nature in these structures with the goal of their control and the integration into device applications.
