Electrical investigation of spin-transport in metal-semiconductor hybrid structures

We have an opening for a Diploma/Master work in the Spintronics project. The working plan includes investigation of spin transport from ferromagnetic metals into semiconductor thin films. The investigations will be performed using low-temperature high-magnetic field electrical transport setups. Possibility of improving skills in sample preparation using lithographic techniques will be provided.

• Optimization of measurements configuration and sample design

Requirements

• Independent and careful working style.
• Knowledge of solid state physics is required.
• Knowledge of electrical transport phenomena in low-dimensional nanostructures is desired.
